My Mission
In a world full of darkness, Lamplighter Letters is here to be a light for all who strive to share the Light of Christ through their writing. A Leerie is the name for someone who lights the street lamps at dusk, providing a light to walk by. We can all be Leeries for the Lord by using our writing to keep the lamps kindled with the Living Word.
No matter how dark the world becomes we can meet Under the Lamp and pass along our Letters (our writings) of hope, truth, and faith. You can find posts on practical writing advice, my current works in progress, and book recommendations as well as my insights not just as a writer, but as a Catholic.

I am M. G. Teagan and welcome to Lamplighter Letter!
I am an aspiring writer who lives in Minnesota.
I am a daughter of Christ who strives to give glory to Him through my writing.
I am a fan of historical and christian fiction, as well as dystopian.
Meriol Trevor and C.S. Lewis kindled my love of creating contemporary christian fiction sprinkled with stark reality, a handful of adventure, and a dash of mystery.
In my free time you can find me outside enjoying nature, building puzzles or painting.
I love golden sunrises, iced-tea, winding rivers, starry skies, tiramisu, ivy covered walls, and country churches.
