Utilize Music🎶

Dear Leeries,

My quick tip for today is to utilize music when you write.

I've recently discovered how helpful it is to create playlists for a WIP, especially if you're struggling with writers block, or if you're a pantser.

You can make as many playlists as you want for all different emotions and to portray different ideas.

For example, I have playlists titled the following: Suspense/reveling, happy, dreamy/wondering, Opera/high society, Observing, sad, Peppy/dancing, Fast/intense, and Slow/stoic.

I definitely recommend making some playlists! They've helped me so much!

Also, here is a fun writing Prompt:

  1. Put a random playlist on shuffle (not the ones you made specifically for writing).

  2. First song is your characters difficulties/challenges.

  3. Second song is their attitude toward the world and other people.

  4. Third song is what they feel inside.

  5. Fouth song is their relationships.

  6. Fifth song is what they are going to do/story plot.

Have Fun!!!

See you Under the Lamp!✨
